Project Objective

The fundamental goal was to create a distinctive sporting event that fused the natural beauty of the Sierra de Tramontana with the athletic challenge of a swimming traverse. The vision included not only providing participants with a unique experience but also establishing a lasting and sustainable brand for future editions.

Responsibilities and Deliverables

My responsibilities included creating the event’s brand and logo, a visual identity that captured the essence of the swim traverse and resonated with participants. Securing sponsors was crucial for financing and supporting the event. The planning and execution of the swim traverse included logistical coordination, water safety, and medical care, key aspects of the event’s success.

Safety Management and Collaboration with the Red Cross

Safety management was a priority, and in this context, I established a strategic partnership with the Red Cross to ensure preparedness and effective response to potential water emergencies. This involved detailed safety protocols, trained personnel, and close coordination during the swim traverse.

Results and Evaluation

The result was a successful sporting event that met the established goals. The swimming traverse in the Sierra de Tramontana became an annual milestone, attracting participants, sponsors, and spectators. The creation of a solid brand contributed to the event's continuity and recognition over time.

Lessons Learned and Continuous Improvements

Following the event, a comprehensive evaluation was conducted to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned. Detailed reports were generated for all stakeholders, including sponsors and security entities, to refine future editions and maintain excellence standards.

In summary, this project demonstrated the ability to lead the complete creation of a sporting event, from its conception to its successful implementation, highlighting the importance of strategic planning, effective collaboration, and comprehensive management for long-term success.
