Personalisation of a luxury flat

Bendinat Mar is a 12-story building located right on the seafront. Originally operating as a first-class aparthotel, it has now been converted into a luxury residential complex. The building was designed to host 79 apartments, all offering spectacular views of the Bay of Palma. As Project Manager, my responsibilities included project planning, ensuring client-requested customizations were clearly defined, and direct coordination with the construction company. I supervised the project’s progress, guaranteeing that timelines were met and the quality of the work adhered to the agreed standards. Additionally, I managed the procurement and installation of materials and equipment, coordinating suppliers to ensure compliance with the luxury specifications required. Finally, I performed quality control checks and verified regulatory compliance, delivering the apartment to the client in optimal condition, as agreed.
Project Objective
The primary purpose of the project was the renovation and customization of a luxury apartment in Bendinat Mar. The goal was to coordinate with the construction company to ensure that the work met the quality standards required by the client, delivering the apartment on time and within budget. This project involved detailed supervision of the renovation, including finishes, high-tech installations, and implementation of customizations requested by the client to suit their specific needs.
Outcome
The project concluded with the successful handover of the apartment, meeting the client’s deadlines and requirements. All requested customizations were completed, including the installation of high-end kitchen and bathroom equipment, advanced climate control systems, and upgrades in finishes. The result was a fully functional luxury apartment aligned with quality standards and customized to meet the client’s expectations, providing an exclusive space with spectacular views of the Bay of Palma.
My Role in the Project
As Project Manager for the client, my responsibility was to oversee the entire apartment renovation process. This included direct communication with the construction company, scheduling work, supervising the progress, and ensuring that all quality standards and agreed-upon specifications with the client were met.
