Project Casa Peletería
Old Town House Reconstruction
Project details:
My highlighted experience focuses on the reconstruction and restoration of an old house located in the historic town center. The primary goal of this ambitious project was to revitalize the historic structure, ensuring its habitability while preserving its original architectural essence. In this endeavor, I took on the role of project leader, assuming various responsibilities to ensure successful execution and compliance with local regulations.

Project Objective
The main objective was to bring back to life an old house in the historic town center, maintaining its authenticity and adhering to the strict regulations governing constructions in historic areas. The focus was not only on making the house livable but also on preserving and enhancing its original features, thus contributing to the conservation of the architectural heritage.
Achieved Result
The project successfully transformed the old house into a livable space without compromising its historical identity. Meticulous work was carried out to restore and preserve architectural elements such as moldings, stone walls, and ornamental details. In addition, structural and service improvements were implemented to ensure modern safety and comfort.

My Role in the Project
As the project leader, my role encompassed everything from the conception of the plan to the final delivery. I oversaw all stages, from the initial assessment of the structure to the coordination of specialized teams in architectural restoration and regulatory compliance. I acted as the key liaison between historical preservation experts, architects, and contractors, ensuring cohesion and alignment with the project’s objectives.
Responsibilities and Deliverables
My responsibilities included developing a detailed plan that took into account the specific regulations of the historic town center. I worked closely with architects to develop strategies that would allow for restoration without compromising historical integrity. Efficient resource management, supervision of construction work, and coordination with local authorities were essential for compliance with regulations.
Key deliverables included progress reports, documentation of the original and final state of the house, as well as final approval from historical preservation authorities. The restoration not only brought the house back to its former glory but also contributed to the enrichment of the historic fabric of the community.
This project highlighted the importance of meticulous planning and multidisciplinary coordination in the preservation of architectural heritage, maintaining a balance between necessary modernization and the protection of cultural heritage.
